I'm on Gaiaonline. Mainly for the virtual paper dolls, but also for an RP I'm in, an AU of the Revolutionary Girl Utena anime series. I have one of the villains, a charming young budding sociopath named Piet Hoekstra. Despite having existed since the start of the game, he's never had a character headshot.

I play on GaiaOnline. It's free (for the most part), it's cute, it's virtual paper dolls. What's not to like?

They're having a Valentine's Day event. You can send Valentines to users, or to Gaian NPCs. The NPCs,if they accept your Valentine, will send you one back, with their picture.

One of the first NPCs I received a valentine from was Gino Gambino, son of Johnny K. Gambino (the richest man on Gaia).
